The ignorant people is the beginning cause of the centralized power and the centralized power has produced such problems as you see today. When Pu see the ignorance of the people is the main and first cause of all problems in Cambodia, I am restless, sleepless and eager to explain it to the people, which I regarded these expectations as the profound knowledge that will be the best solution to all problems in this country. Pu thought Pu could do it even though it took much time and had many obstacles. Pu thought it would not be more two mandates, people must have understood clearly about the danger of the centralized power system and gotten up together to set the mechanisms to reduce the centralized power of the top leader.
Pu decided to give up my MP from Sam Rainsy party without any hesitation despite leaving alone, Pu thought it was possible because what Pu got people to think and do was their benefits and Pu was clear in the mind that Pu have a giving and helping heart together with my talent in illuminating and all these will be a clear and sharp vision in building a civilized democratic nation and there would be nothing to stop it from happening. Pu would sacrifice everything even the family to build this modern and civilized country in the Golden strait because it was the happiness of all the people in the country.
More than 13 years have gone. I tell myself that I supposed wrong about the great thickness of the ignorance of Cambodian people and the strong selfishness of every level of Khmer.
I am definitely sympathetic on you my children who understand and join fighting with me in every battle with the only one emotion. Whenever turning back,I can only see your smile to me though having tiredness, shortage and other life problems, your beautiful pure smile and their giving emotion are always on your faces. It is the most attractive smile to my mind. Although I am being tired, having severe problems or far away from you , your pure smile and clear eyes flowing from your giving hearts truly become my powerful inspiration and let me touch a truly wonderful feeling in my mind “ nothing can attract my mind but the emotion”. Despite the fact that it isn’t as fast as my expectation, your father would tell you that your mental and physical sacrifice in the duration of more then ten years has pushed your saving boat that was built by the giving heart to reach the point that is effective enough for your saving work. Please you my children continue your work as usual as before. Next mandate, there will definitely and inevitably be laughters from our saving group. Be with hope my children!
