PHNOM PENH- - King Norodom Sihamoni will make a trip to Japan in October to go to the announcement function of Japanese Emperor Naruhito's enthronement.
Outside Minister Prak Sokhonn made the declaration on August 1 during a gathering with his Japanese partner Taro Kono uninvolved of the 52nd ASEAN Foreign Ministers' gathering in Bangkok.
Kono sent his gratitude to Cambodia's King Sihamoni and, as indicated by a Cambodian Foreign Ministry's official statement, said that Japan "anticipates respecting the King's up and coming nearness."
World pioneers and dignitaries from almost 200 nations are required to participate in the decree of the new Emperor's enthronement to occur on October 22 and during which the head will "pronounce his progression to the world", as indicated by The Japan Times paper.
Head Naruhito climbed to the position of authority on May 1 during a function that denoted the start of the magnificent period Reiwa, which signifies "wonderful amicability" as the Japanese government expressed.
His increase to the royal position pursued the renouncement of Emperor Akihito, his dad, who turned into the principal Japanese ruler to do as such in over 200 years.
Ties between the Japanese royal family and the Cambodian imperial family return almost seven decades. The late King Norodom Sihanouk had first visited Japan in 1953, setting up political relations between the two nations.
In 2013, Japan got one of Cambodia's key accomplices and has been one of the nation's greatest givers.
Last May, Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia Hidehisa Horinouchi stated, "I genuinely trust that the individuals of Japan and Cambodia will keep on cultivating the kinship we have manufactured and will rouse the social trades that have just accomplished such a great deal to improve our relationship."
